I decided to do something productive today. Over the weekend I found a chair next to the dumpster outside my apartment. It was a sad little chair in need of some help. I didn't have much in the way of upholstery fabric, and since I'm trying to cut costs wherever I can, I had to make due with what I already possessed. So around 11 am I started in on my project...5 hours, 1 bag of garbage, a backache, and a mexican coke later I've finished my re-covered chair. For a first timer I think it went ok, it's somewhat lumpy, and puckers in the wrong places, but overall a success.
